At TND Surfboards, we want you to be stoked with your new board! We take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our surfboards. Please read our refund policy carefully as it outlines your rights and our obligations regarding returns and refunds.
Our Goods Come With Guarantees That Cannot Be Excluded Under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Change of Mind:
Please choose carefully as we do not typically offer refunds or exchanges if you simply change your mind or make a wrong selection. We understand that buying a surfboard online can be tricky, so we encourage you to contact us with any questions you may have before making your purchase. We are happy to provide detailed descriptions, photos, and advice to help you choose the right board.
Faulty or Damaged Goods:
If you receive a surfboard that is faulty, damaged during shipping, or not as described, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your order. To help us process your claim quickly, please provide the following:
* Your order number.
* Clear photos or videos showing the fault or damage.
* A description of the issue.
Once we have assessed your claim and confirmed that the product is faulty or damaged due to a manufacturing defect or our error, we will offer you one of the following remedies in accordance with Australian Consumer Law:
* Repair: We may offer to repair the surfboard at our expense.
* Replacement: We may offer to replace the surfboard with the same or a similar product, subject to availability.
* Refund: If a repair or replacement is not possible or suitable, we will provide a full refund of the purchase price and any original shipping costs.
Shipping Damage:
If your surfboard arrives with visible damage to the packaging, please make a note of it with the delivery driver, if possible, and take photos before opening the package. If you discover damage to the surfboard itself after opening the package, please contact us immediately (within [Insert Number, e.g., 48 hours] of receipt) with photos of the damage to both the packaging and the surfboard. We will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue and arrange for a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
Custom Shaped Surfboards:
Please note that for custom shaped surfboards, which are made to your specific order and requirements, we generally do not offer refunds or exchanges unless the surfboard is faulty or not made to the agreed specifications. We will work closely with you during the design and shaping process to ensure your satisfaction.
Return Shipping:
If a return is approved for a faulty or damaged item, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the surfboard. We will be responsible for the return shipping costs in these cases.

Processing Refunds:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
